Privacy statement
This statement sets out which personal data we receive when you contact us, what we use it for, how long we keep it and which rights you have. The Dutch version is the binding one; this text is a reading aid.
Who is responsible
Aalsmeer Loodgieter is a trading name of Jongma Development, registered with the Dutch chamber of commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 91401216 and established in Hoofddorp. What we receive
Through the form on this site: your name, telephone number, and where you fill them in your email address and postcode, the type of fault, how soon it needs doing and the description you write yourself.
By telephone or WhatsApp: your telephone number, what you tell us about the fault and any photos you send.
The site also records that the call button or the WhatsApp button was used, together with the page it happened on. No name or number is attached to that; it is a count, not a profile.
What we use it for
To contact you about your request, to schedule and carry out the work, and to invoice afterwards. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it on.
The legal basis is performance of the contract or, where a request is not yet an instruction, the steps taken at your request before entering into one.
How long we keep it
A request that does not lead to an instruction is kept for six months. Data belonging to work that was carried out is kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires that of the accounts.
Who we share it with
With the parties needed to do the work and keep the accounts: the company hosting this site, the supplier of the telephone and messaging service, and the bookkeeping. The same agreements on confidentiality and retention apply to each of them.
Beyond those parties we share nothing, unless a legal obligation requires it.
Cookies and measurement
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracker in the first render. Where statistics are measured, that happens only after the page has loaded and without building a profile about you.
Your rights
You may ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it erased or have its use restricted. You may also object. Send a request to the email address at the bottom of this page; you get an answer within four weeks.
If we cannot resolve it together, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
The site runs on https, requests are sent encrypted, and access to the data is limited to those who need it for the work.
